Production Manager

MosquitoMate seeks a Production Manager to lead a production team in the Lexington, KY
area. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in interpersonal skills, organization,
decision-making, and leadership, while sharing our passion for growing the company and
delivering responsible mosquito control to Lexington, the US, and beyond.
Specific duties will include the management of hourly employees in the production and delivery
of the male mosquitoes. No biology background is required.

Education: Must have at least a BA/BS from an accredited 4yr. institution.
Experience: Must have at least 5 years of experience managing teams in a business environment.
Duties: Must be able to articulate ideas, lead by example, give direction and provide positive
leadership to employees. Must have basic computer skills . Some development of higher level
relationships with local municipalities and politicians through marketing and education of the
product. Following training, must be able to manage all steps of the manufacturing process: from
rearing to distribution of mosquitoes. Must be able to manage production team members to meet
production demands and respond to production challenges, as appropriate.
Hours: 40 hours per week/salaried position
Salary: $40,000 – $55,000 starting salary, commensurate with experience and abilities. Incentives
available. Future growth opportunities available.
