Stephen Dobson is a professor and medical entomologist, focused on developing and testing approaches for controlling mosquitoes. In 2010, he founded MosquitoMate, Inc., a company focused on translating the new technologies into field applications. Stephen has served as President (2012) of the American Committee of Medical Entomology, American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. He has served on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Medical Entomology and is an active member of the Entomological Society of America, including the Medical, Urban and Veterinary Entomology Section. His work at MosquitoMate is focused on putting biotech innovations to use in ways that will make a positive impact in the community at large. Stephen’s favorite pastime is hiking and camping with his wife and two children.
