- The MosquitoMate Wolbachia method uses naturally-occurring bacteria. It is chemical-free, non-GMO, and has been listed for organic use.
- The name of the bacteria is ‘Wolbachia,’ and it naturally occurs in over half of all insects, including many bees, butterflies, and mosquitoes. Wolbachia can only live inside the insect and it cannot be transmitted to people, pets, birds, or any warm-blooded animal.
- When MosquitoMate Wolbachia males mate with your female mosquitoes, the Wolbachia causes the mosquito eggs to not hatch. With fewer hatching mosquito eggs, your property has fewer biting adult mosquitoes.
