We encourage both domestic and international parties to contact MosquitoMate for a cost estimate. The cost of MosquitoMate products is calculated based on variables including the cost of goods, the location and size of the treatment site, the number of contiguous properties participating in the service, delivery logistics and the duration of the treatment season (e.g., the mosquito season in Florida is longer than that in Ohio). Therefore, as described above, we encourage both domestic and international parties to contact MosquitoMate for a cost estimate.
Participants in a Qualifying Developing Country (QDC) are eligible to receive MosquitoMate technologies at a discounted rate, which is known as the MosquitoMate Global Access Plan. For clarity, MosquitoMate’s definition of QDC participants is based on the United Nations list of Least Developed Countries, which is provided at: https://www.un.org/en/conferences/least-developed-countries
For those QDC participants that can demonstrate manufacturing capability, quality control and sex separation processes, a non-exclusive license for MosquitoMate technologies (e.g., WB1 eggs to establish a self-sustaining colony) can be provided at no cost to the QDC participant. For other QDC participants that require manufacturing assistance, MosquitoMate will work with the QDC participant to develop an estimated cost for the MosquitoMate products and services as described above. Furthermore, if philanthropic assistance can be identified, then this will be used to mitigate costs to the QDC participant.
