Corey Brelsfoard, PhD
ADAM Team Leader
Corey Brelsfoard leads the innovative ‘ADAM’ technology, which uses male mosquitoes as vehicles to deliver a potent mosquito insecticide and reduce mosquito populations. Dr. Brelsfoard is a Principle Investigator at MosquitoMate, Inc. He has over 10 years experience working with insect vectors of disease, particularly mosquitoes. Corey has acquired experience in insect ecology, biological control, genetics and bacterial symbiosis. His PhD dissertation directly advanced the MosquitoMate technology that the company is using today. Prior to joining the company Corey served as an Assistant Professor in the natural sciences department at St. Catharine College. When not thinking about mosquitoes, Corey enjoys spending time with this family, reading, and enjoying the great outdoors.
